Quality assurance takes center stage at rapidly growing software services company
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC (August 29, 2005) - International IT Services, Ltd. (IITS) announced it will join and sponsor Triangle Information Systems Quality Association (TISQA) in Research Triangle Park. Since 2001, IITS has maintained a quality assurance lab for telecommunications and software development companies at its wholly-owned subsidiary in Vietnam. In 2004, IITS added new functionality for mobile wireless application testing. By joining and actively sponsoring TISQA, IITS management has decided to actively promote the best practices of quality assurance outsourcing throughout the RTP community.
The IITS model focuses on creating upward opportunities for quality assurance engineers and managers in the US, while significantly reducing the cost of product validation, verification and quality assurance. IITS recognizes that outsource work often brings great anxiety to a quality assurance team within an organization. Large enterprises have already secured their own development subsidiaries and partners, now mid-sized companies can benefit from access to lower cost of development and testing. Unlike competitors who seek primarily to cut US staff, IITS methodology focuses on empowering US test engineers and managers to become test leads, and managers of larger teams capable of rapidly increasing their test coverage, and test automation.
