International IT Services announced today that it has successfully launched two new outsource development centers to serve clients in the areas of product verification, legacy systems maintenance and mobile applications development. The centers are located in Darling, Australia and Suzhou, China. The Australian office is led by a veteran general manager, Ken Ho Le who has led software development teams for over 20 years. His Chinese counterpart is Weizhong Zhang, PhD who has served as a leader in technology development at IBM.
International IT Services has worked in Asia since its founding. The company built a team of software engineers in Vietnam in 2001. This will be the first time that additional country offices will be established. After examining several countries, among them India, Pakistan, Philippines, and Malaysia, the company chose Australia and China because of availability of high level technical talent, excellent IT infrastructure, political stability and English language skills. It plans to move employees between offices as necessary to complement the strengths of each location.
Michael Le, CEO of International IT Services, issued a short statement: “We have arrived at an important junction in the growth of the company. Our clients will benefit from better access to skill sets and resources. We will be better able to serve clients who require a diversified global team.” The new centers provide extended service hours, highest quality telecommunication services and create a unified, transparent service offering for outsourcing companies. The diverse skills of the Australian and Chinese markets complement the existing center in Vietnam. The company will focus its development resources in Asia Pacific and will leverage those locations in future client engagements. “Imagine the improvements in quality and value as you add large capacities of Chinese developers, access to the regions best IT infrastructure and the management expertise and language skills of Australian professionals;” said Peter Dolina, Vice President of Business Development. |
