International IT Services announced Richard Holcomb and Sam Bayer to join the company as new Board of Directors members

(February 26th, 2003)

International IT Services, Ltd., a global provider of outsourced IT consulting and software development with headquarters in Raleigh, NC announced the appointment of Richard Holcomb and Sam Bayer to its Board of Directors today. International IT Services is a growing force in the software development market as the largest US based company utilizing the rapidly growing pool of IT talent in other geographies.

Richard Holcomb, one of the most successful technology entrepreneurs in the Research Triangle, founded and sold Q+E Software in the early 90's and founded another still thriving software company, HAHT Commerce, in 1996. "I have been involved in outsourced development for several years, so when I visited IITS’ development center earlier this year and saw first-hand the skill level of the International IT Services developers, I was very impressed." said Holcomb. "I've been looking for a way to decrease software development costs without sacrificing quality or timeliness. International IT Services is a US-based company with American managers running operations in other geographies, which means International IT Services understands and fulfill the needs of US IT organizations better."

Sam Bayer, who co-founded Axiom Systems in 1986 where he continued through completion of its IPO in 1989 was attracted by the market potential, "The recent and projected growth of the outsourcing market clearly expresses a need for these services" said Bayer, who also held senior management positions at IBM and HAHT Commerce before founding his newest company, Market Acuity. Although the market is growing, Bayer's biggest draw to International IT Services was the management team, "The International IT Services team has a proven track record in founding and growing successful companies and I am honored to be part of such a great team."

Michael Le, President, CEO and founder of International IT Services, has spent the last year building a team and infrastructure in the US and other geographies. According to Le, the announcement of Holcomb and Bayer enhances the International IT Services management team. "Successful entrepreneurs such as Richard and Sam understand the need for businesses to maintain competitive advantage through the use of technology, but they also understand to achieve those goals in this economic environment, businesses must utilize the type of high quality, low-cost services International IT Services provides."
