Description The Application Architect will be responsible for working with a portfolio of Mobile partner organizations both to evaluate applications designed for the Mobile Applications on different platform and to provide guidance to formative partner application development projects.  This person will work closely with individuals across our Products organization to bring appropriate expertise to bear on the application design and development efforts of our partners.  A key responsibility will be to build close, trusting relationships with our partners by delivering high-quality services in a consultative manner. The Application Architect is a key player in our strategic application program and provides technical leadership across our organization.
Job Responsibilities • Provide technical design and architecture leadership to our partners in the context of the application logo program
• Develop scalable application review processes and design advisory methodologies
• Generate high-quality review documentation such as reviews, design opinions, architectural and process flow diagrams
• Lead a cross-functional team of technical resources through structured application review processes
• Provide architectural design reviews and recommendation services
• Communicate status of assignments accurately clearly and accurately to management
• Develop strong working relationships across our partner base
• Periodic travel required
Skills • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• 3-5 years experience with Mobile Applications, APIs and development environments
• Consulting and/or software development experience preferred
• Experience with design of Mobile Applications and technical architectures
• Experience with formal structured design, development and testing techniques
• Strong working knowledge of Java, VB, SQL and XML technologies
• Knowledge of development methodologies, GUI development and web architectures
• Knowledge of SQL Server/Oracle internals
• Knowledge of Web Services standards and application usage scenarios
• Superior writing and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments well
• Able to work independently as well as in concert with a cross-functional team

Technical Director - Animation (Games)
Title Technical Director - Animation
Location Raleigh, North Carolina, US

Description The position of Animation Technical Director will be filled by a person with extensive experience and knowledge of the principles of character rigging; character motion, building CG characters and an understanding in all areas of the 3D animation pipeline. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of technical aspects/limitations of creating and manipulating 3D characters (and other assets) for both real-time & pre-rendered 3D environments.
Skills Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years industry (Game Development) experience setting up both low & high-end characters in Maya with additional experience in other software packages (Softimage) highly desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of skeletal and deformation systems and the principles of character motion required to build characters.
• Ability to learn and utilize proprietary plug-ins.
• Excellent working knowledge of character animation tools and setup environment in Maya.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of Maya, using the Maya API & MEL scripting.
• Experience with C/C++, scripting languages (Python), & CVS.

The individual must be:
• Motivated to develop and maintain strong knowledge of innovative production, technologies and the relative value of those technologies to our production endeavors.
• Able to work closely with all members of the production team.
• Able to prioritize tasks and manage their own time effectively.
• Able to work well under pressure and deadlines.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Desired Skills, i.e. preferable :
• 3D computer graphics programming experience or education.
• Experience with Special/Visual Effects is a plus.
• Experience with character animation tools and setup environment in SoftImage.
